Designed to interface with printed wheels shown below (Wheels were downloaded from Thingiverse, I did not design them) 1.75mm filament was used as an axle.
Wheels aligned with the rim of the filament roll to allow for easy advancing when pulled on by extruder.
This part was downloaded from Thingiverse, and used as a basis to design the filament roll holder around.
This part was also inverted and printed for the left side of the calf. Part was printed in rainbow PLA.
Used to connect the calf and ankle components of the STARX exoskeleton.
TPU was picked for its deformability to allow the U bolts to be tightened much more than PLA or PLA+ would allow.
Interior was lubricated to run up a square steel shaft of approximately one inch.
Slider was printed out of PLA+ for maximum strength
